Find Beauty in All Things

As I sit here with a little time to be able to write due to the rain falling outside, I want to share a few pictures I have taken this week.

The garden had definitely kept me busy, but there are other tasks that must be attended to, like mowing the yard, taking the trash off, and watering flowers on the porch. That doesn't take into account the "indoor" tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.... The list seems endless.

But in all that, I encourage you to try to look outside the "task" and appreciate what may be in the fringes that makes every task enjoyable. The bumblebee in the Rose of Sharon while sitting on the lawnmower, the sweetpeas blooming by the shed, the Japanese beetle with beautiful coloring, the carnation pedal with the rain drop covering it while watering the porch plants, the random tomato growing in the flowerbed...they all count
